Valentine’s Day will be over, but we’ve taken our quills from our quivers and aimed them straight for the heart. Love and the lack of it, the real thing and the things that pass for it, crazy takes on it and calls to transcend sexism and racism, true desecrators of the heart in any society—all this and more, from writers Tricia Marcella Cimera, Kristin LaTour, Richard Holinger, Hakeem Jones, Angela Smallwood, Raymond Ziemer, and Neill Shanahan (with scene actors Jana Blumberg and Galen Malick). On Sunday, February 15th, give yourself, your friends or your Valentine a unique treat: come to Waterline Writers to experience diverse writers reading their own poetry, spoken word, fiction, non-fiction, scenes and more. An Open Mic follows at 8:30—you can bring a 5-minute piece to share! Waterline Writers–readings and open mics—3rd Sundays, September – May at Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St. Batavia. Your $5 suggested donation is refunded when you buy a book!

We are still accepting submissions for our upcoming Waterline Writers events: March 15, April 19, May 17. waterlinewriters@gmail.com
